this is a pair of samplers in parallel each feeding a mingrod, minus the octave up option. then the ming's out is feeding a booster. let me explain

so the samplers are the same as the one found in the amnesio SL-0.6 they have about a 10 second max record time, no pitch or speed control other then the record on/off switch that you can use to guide the loop points as usual. its pretty lo-fi 8-bitish as the samples show and can get very fucking loud so you can distort into the ringmod or other devices. there is a separate input and output control for each sampler. there is also an led record state indicator for the record / off / loop toggle switch. each also has its own input and output jack.

the ringmod is a mingrod ( passive analog) without the octave option only because it has both of the samplers hard-wired to the carrier and mod inputs. but they are switched out as soon as you plug something into either one and each of the carrier and mod now has its own input volume control for better ring effect adjustment (it does also effect the sampler feeds). the output of the ringmod now feeds a booster for makeup gain and has its own separate volume control.

the entire device runs off of a single 9v and has a main power switch on the back and an led power indicator top / center. because everything is running off of a single 9v there is a little bit of bleed between the samplers outputs. it unavoidable but not that big of an issue. i'm just being up front about it, if its an issue for you don't buy it.

update:  this bitch is slightly hindered in functionality. the right sampler will not properly feed the ringmod. anything else patched into it will work but for some impossible, laws of physics breaking fucking reason the right side sampler will not mod the source signal. you can argue but the past 70 hours of my fucking life says your wrong. everything else works as it should

:::  sample   :::  1.7 mb   -  more  random reaktor drums - starts clean/direct - then 30% volume into the sampler alone - then full volume into the sampler. then some ring moding to the sample with the PSS using a few different sounds
:::  sample   :::  395 kb   - random reaktor drums direct not sampled being ring modded with the yamaha PSS on like an organ patch i think
:::  sample   :::  900 kb   -   reaktor drums sampled this time being ring modded with the yamaha PSS on the same patch as above

all the samples are just slapped together. i didn't try to cut clean loops or anything, no other effects of any kind were used. oh and my mixer and good audio I/O are not available so i couldn't monitor my playing so it sucks pretty hard, even funny at times

* WARRANTY PLEASE READ:  this item is, at its heart, circuit bent (being forced to fail)  and as a result its possible that its heart can die at any time. as a result i can not cover it under the warranty. as for all of my custom addition's, the rignmod, booster, the knobs and parts i've added, they are covered under the warranty for failure as you would expect.
