this is a vtech laptop that has little lessons and
activities in it. the coolest by far is the little
sequencer with three different sounds. piano, guitar
and violin. you can hear me use it and switch between
the sounds in the samples. the switches control a glitch
loop, two different types of distortion, a messy pulsing
noise generator, and a sometimes glitch/most of the
time weird metallic stuttery percussion. the top knob
when used with an amp and depending on the bend you
are using will either be a sort of resonance or
a distortion at the top of the throw. at the bottom
it will lower the volume. the bottom knob and switch
are for a synth that functions separate from everything
else. knob for wide pitch range, switch for on/off.
it can sympathetically effect the other sounds sort
of like a resonance but not really. you can hear it
all over the samples. i also added a 1/4" out that
will switch off the internal speaker when you plug
into it. 9v power jack built in already that will automatically
switch off the batteries when in use. takes 4 C batteries
- included
the samples are just me plugging in and playing with
the greeting sounds, flipping switches, then adding in
the synth tones, and then you can hear me sequencing
a little melody and then effecting it with the bends.
nothing else was used. no effects, nothing.
