the
rdaio
bent autoscan radio /
theremin / noise generator
::: SOLD
inside this tiny little box you will find the guts
of a little autoscan radio that has been bent to produce
theremin like tones. the pitch is controlled but the
lower knob. the upper knob will change its characteristics.
from static to cleaner/simpler waveshape. the momentary
switch on the right is used to change the station and
while switching acts as a mute button. though its rare
you can even get it to receive/produce a clear radio
signal, it will step through looking for the next available
signal and, if you do this with a distorted setting
it will yield slightly different noises and colors,
by mangling the radio signal. it doesn’t do much
when settings are more tone like other then act as
a mute switch. the switch on the left will drop the
pitch about an octave or so and changes the character
a little bit. the led in the center comes on with the
power. the power switch is on the back with the stereo
out. the switch on the front turns on the bulb next
to it to give you a little bit of a work light when
needed. Its pretty bright so be careful. you might
want to change it to a colored bulb it’s a standard
x-mas light. easy to change. yes its kind of stupid,
but it was already there so why let it go to waste.
external battery compartment.
