SOLD OUT
from the srrrers series - complete
.\\\\' DESCRIPTION '///////////////////////////////.
this is a passive feedback loop with a bleak waveshaper in front of it. the shaper is not inside the feedback loop but the simple low pass filter does effect it unless the WS is bypassed. i changed the WS's filter slightly so that its more effective in the audio range and only kills the feedback at max settings. the shape knob will not effect anything except the audio coming into the 'input but you can always just flip the 'input and 'return cables and then the WS will be in the feedback loop. please understand that the waveshaper is a passive circuit that needs a loud source volume to do its job. passive or low volume devices will need preamps to be effected by it and will only seem to be quieter without one. you can bypass the shaper to use it with low levels if you want ( left switch )
moving clockwise from the knob marked with a white and pink circle on the first device below
INPUT .\\\\' this is the main input volume control
OUTPUT .\\\\' the main output volume control. functional in all modes
MIX .\\\\' when set to dry ( left) this will pull you completely out of the feedback loop and with some settings the input volume knob will have no effect, the output volume will always function though. this takes a sec to get used to
COURSE .\\\\\\' this is the course control for the feedback loop
FINE .\\\' this is the fine control for the feedback loop
FILTER .\\\' the simple and limited passive low pass filter used as a section of the shaper and to effect the feedback loop
SHAPE .\\\' the shape control will only effect the audio input, nothing else. you also need to make sure that you are sending it a loud volume or it will not seem to have any effect. the center position is clean, left and right are breakup
SEND .\\\' the send control when used with pedals in the loop that increase the gain in some way will have the effect of a variable distortion in most cases. in other less aggressive situations it will help you get more subtle and "musically" useful feedback options like simply using the perv to replace the feedback path on an existing delay pedal just to use the EXP function. the left exp input works directly with the send control, when using an EXP pedal with it this knob allows you to adjust its range
BYPASS WS SWITCH .\\\\' this will bypass the waveshaper ( not true bypass - LEFT )
BYPASS SWITCH .\\\\' this will send the input directly to the output bypassing the effects of the box but it will not mute the feedback loop if you have one setup. that is what the mix knob is for ( not true bypass - RIGHT )
FINE EXP JACK .\\\\\\\\' any standard passive expression pedal should give you full range control over the feedback volume
SEND EXP JACK .\\\\\\\\' any standard passive expression pedal should give you close to full range control over the send volume depending on how the send knob is set
I/O JACKS .\\\\\\\\ ' reading from left to right: output, send, return, input
all pcbs have been hand printed by alex of getlofi – designed, cut and drilled by me

.\\\\' NOTES '/////////.
the CV to EXP converter will NOT work with this device
the color in the pics is not a perfect match - pink, blue and purple are a bit darker
the blue and flat black on a few crackled
there are a few scattered tiny fuckups in a few finishes
the flat black is sensitive to touch and already has some minor markings from assembly – the flat is both under and over the gloss coats

|
stupid drum loop into a delay pedal, then a molester, then a chorus |
|
just a simple kick / synth loop, clean to start then the same delay and dist from above |
|
same stupid drum/synth loop from above into a delay pedal, two chorus pedals, a tape delay then an old green muff (which is very noisy alone and no i'm not going to fix it) |
|
just a super shitty loop with me sweeping through generic drum kits to show you the waveshaper alone. nothing else was touched |
|
this is just to show you the send function. its a delay and distortion pedal in the feedback loop with nothing on the input, feedback on perv max and the only knob touched is the send knob. |
watch your levels because i did not, sorry about that
|
no other hardware was used in any way |
