variable feedback loop
::: SOLD
this is a feedback loop
with a bypass switch and a knob to control the amount
of feedback. designed for use with effects pedals,
though there are other uses for it. the connections,
reading clockwise from the bottom left side are. main
input, return, send and main out. if this is confusing
they can easily be changed. its a pretty simple device
to control but it can yield fucking crazy results depending
on how you use it. modulation and delay effects generally
give great results but some fuzz pedals and other things
also work very well. experimentation is key here. true
bypass.
sample details: it
starts with just a synth, middle C of an alphajuno
1, then you here the feedback loop kick on with a chorus
pedal. then the feedback knob is turned up then a little
messing with the chorus then at the volume drop that
is a big muff pi nyc kicking in, then some messing
with that for a while, then you will hear an old ibanez
distortion kicking in and its pretty obvious. then
a lot a messing with that and the rest. then a overdrive
is kick in. at about 3 mins in i unplug the synth completely.
after that it's just the feedback loops between the
pedals. then at about 7:10 mins in, i plug the synth
back in and continue to mess around bypassing things
and twiddling knobs and stuff. then it ends with just
the synth alone again. most of the modulation/sinewave
you hear as a source is the chorus pedal. modulation
effects react very strongly
no eq, no reverb, no edits, nothing
added at all.
