this is an opto-isolated switch that is controlled by a wide range variable speed voltage controllable squarewave clock / lfo. i designed it be used as a simple on/off switch to work with bends but it can also be used alone as a stand alone stutter box, a vibrato, and just about anything else you can think of. being as how it is optically controlled it also smoothes out the signal a bit so there is not any harsh clicking or sharp edges to deal with at all. the CV input has a simple basic linear response that will work up to the supply voltage and should not be exceeded. there is also a little bend switch that i've added that will slightly mangle the source sound and use that to fill in the gap the switch creates. its pretty subtle depending on the source sound but its pretty wild with others turning the gap into a fluctuating synth bass version of the source, or as with the sample below it will act as a decay, its the sort of thing you can leave out and not miss depending on your application. you will also notice that at higher speeds the clatter can get close to sounding like a ring mod or even a wave shaper. using different voltage power supplies will increase or decrease the range of operation respectively. so please take that into account. 9v recommended.
