this is a variable passive device intended to be used as an analog waveshaper which can aggressively distort an active source. the simple filter is intended more for shaping purposes then standard use. being passive there is a small volume drop

shape knob-right: when this knob is centered the effect is clean, when turned to either side it will clip off more and more of either the top or bottom of the wave. variable rectification

filter knob-left: a simple limited range low pass filter that also alters how aggressive the breakup of the signal is

input and output jacks: the inputs and outputs are interchangeable ( mono / TS )
